Business Development Role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual for a Business Development position in the Construction industry. This role is crucial to our organization as it involves creating and implementing strategies to increase company revenue, identifying potential new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with general contractors and multifamily developers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company's client base and ensure its strong market presence.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and client leads.
  • Oversee the development of marketing literature, ensuring all materials are aligned with the company brand and message.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers, key strategic partners, and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and technical teams to align business development strategies and initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed business proposals and present them to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to clients.
  • Report on business development activities and achievements to senior management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience working with multifamily and concrete sectors.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation and deal closing skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry trends and market behavior.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new business opportunities.
