Business Development Manager

Authority Brands Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our home services business in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering business plans to achieve budgeted sales and required profits.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business plans to achieve budgeted sales and required profits.
  • Directly supervise Operations and Administrative Teams to ensure established goals are achieved.
  • Ensure overall Health, Safety & Environmental culture and program exists.
  • Maintain company-owned inventory within required % of annual sales and shrinkage.
  • Perform ride-alongs with field-based technical and sales staff.
  • Interview and approve candidates for hire.
  • Ensure all job permitting is completed according to standard.
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to implement digital and media strategy.
  • Maintain 100% satisfaction guarantee.
  • Work closely with shared service units to ensure sales calls and service visits are met daily.
  • Confirm service, repair, and install jobs are assigned to appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in conference calls with other General Managers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in motivating teams through leading by example.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven customer service and sales abilities with a strong understanding of job costing.
  • Ability to manage and deliver budgeted sales and EBITDA monthly.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
  • Advanced Degree and/or 5+ years of successful home services industry profit center leadership experience.
