As a Production Support Specialist, you will provide support and assistance to production workers, ensuring accurate ingredients are delivered to the production area. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards in the production area and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
- Perform Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned work areas and assist with cleaning and sanitizing as required
- Relieve production operators as needed and maintain accurate records of production activities
- Report any food safety or quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises, hot and cold temperatures, and wet and dry conditions
- Chemical training and ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning
- Ability to use various tools, including band cutters, dump tanks, tote hoists, knives, and scales
