Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Quality Improvement Manager to join our team in Fairport, NY. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the maturity and quality of hardware and software products
  • Train and mentor associates on quality methods
  • Monitor field performance using global returns database
  • Support the corrective action process using 8D principles
  • Work closely with manufacturing plant to address product and process quality issues
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience as a quality professional
  • Expert in quality methods, e.g., QFD, CTQ, FMEA, DRBFM
  • BS in engineering discipline or related technical degree with 5+ years relevant experience preferred
  • Knowledge of software development and quality
  • Experience with MS Excel and Minitab (or other statistical software)
Preferred Qualifications
  • DFSS experience in software/electronic hardware design and development
  • DMAIC familiarity
  • Measurement system analysis (e.g., Gage R&R)
