Community Support Specialist

Universal MH/DD/SAS is seeking a Community Support Technician to join our team in the Burlington area. As a Community Support Technician, you will work one on one with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, providing Community and Living Supports and Community Networking services.
Job Summary:The Community Support Technician will provide assistance with daily living needs and habilitative skills, promoting independence and self-advocacy. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Responsibilities:- Provide one on one support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
- Assist with daily living needs, including personal care and daily routines
- Support habilitative skills, such as communication, socialization, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with the individual's support team to develop and implement personalized support plans
- Provide community networking services, connecting individuals with community resources and services
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical insurance (full-time only)
