We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SMB Account Executive to join our Sales team at Procore Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acquiring new strategic mid-sized customers and growing revenue through new product sales.
Key Responsibilities- Qualification and Follow-up: Qualify new prospects from inbound leads and outbound cold calling, and follow up in a timely manner to establish rapport and build relationships.
- Lead Management: Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within our CRM system.
- Prospecting and Territory Development: Develop and execute prospecting plans to establish rapport, build relationships, and create opportunities in assigned territories.
- Account Research and Discovery: Network and research accounts to identify key players, generate interest, and execute discovery calls to identify business outcomes and alignment with Procore benefits.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts, and provide sales management with reports on sales activities and projects as requested.
- Competitive Analysis: Pursue and increase knowledge of key competitors to ensure that our value proposition is effectively communicated to customers.
- Target Achievement: Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
- Repeat Business and Referrals: Obtain repeat business, referrals, and references by applying an understanding of the unique requirements of your prospects.
- Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B.
- Sales Methodology: Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology desired.
- Sales Model: Proven record of success in an inside sales and/or outside sales-based selling model.
- Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers.
- Resilience and Adaptability: Ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Relationship Building: Ability to develop trusted relationships.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and online collaboration tools.
- CRM Experience: Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably.
- Pipeline Management: Proven ability to build and manage pipeline and forecasting.
