About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Communications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our global communications strategy and executing media engagement plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan that aligns with our business objectives.
    • Manage and coordinate media engagement strategies, product launches, and review processes.
    • Collaborate with our Global Communications and Social Media team to share our story and showcase our innovative products.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier media outlets and reporters.
    • Track and monitor PR and social media performance, and report actionable insights and KPIs regularly.
  • Events:
    • Develop communications strategies for key events, such as product launches, industry events, and trade shows.
    • Coordinate and execute media outreach and coverage results.
    • Responsible for launch event ideation, planning, and execution.
  • KPIs:
    • Track and evaluate coverage and program impact toward KPIs.
    • Communicate activities, results, and impact back into the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of corporate communications and storytelling experience in an international organization, preferably in gaming and/or consumer electronics.
  • Familiarity with Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, and/or other web 3.0 technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the media and social media landscape, outlets, and demonstrable relationships in gaming, tech, business, and consumer.
  • Strong cross-team collaboration; ability to influence cross-organizationally and at the executive level.
  • A sense of urgency, unrelenting attention to detail, and a strong need for excellence.
  • Puts the customer at the center (internal & external).
  • Strong listener and solution-finder with a sense of pride to go above and beyond.
  • Exceptional organizational, writing, and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Creative, positive, and high-energy individual with a hands-on mentality and excitement for new technologies and emerging trends.
  • Proven history of building a network of media contacts.
  • Proven experience in brand strategy.
  • Ability to influence media with thought leadership.

Working Conditions
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Primary work location is indoors.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
