Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional, friendly, and proactive service to guests while collaborating with fellow team members.
  • Overseeing all kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
  • Developing diverse food menus under the guidance of the Executive Chef.
  • Preparing daily market lists to ensure high-quality food procurement while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborating with Storekeepers to maintain quality and inventory levels.
  • Working closely with other departments to coordinate function menus and meet client requirements.
  • Conducting daily briefings with Sous Chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Ensuring all kitchen personnel are informed of standards and expectations.
  • Maintaining open communication with Outlet Managers and Sous Chefs regarding guest feedback.
  • Balancing operational, administrative, and team needs effectively.
  • Ensuring proper staffing and scheduling in line with productivity standards.
  • Adhering to kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Following all safety and sanitation protocols when handling food and beverages.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in the culinary sector is essential.
  • A diploma or certification in a culinary discipline is advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in cost management, including food, equipment, labor, and waste, to achieve sustainability and financial objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly responsible and dependable.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Focus on guest needs while maintaining composure and courtesy at all times.
Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Candidates must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
