Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Security Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. Key Responsibilities
  • Apply system security principles to design and implement hardened signal processing software applications.
  • Develop software applications using C and C++ languages on various computing platforms.
  • Understand real-time software design and performance implications associated with specific system security implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software and firmware components.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on real-time systems and security.
  • Experience working in a team environment, developing and integrating software applications.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, integrating, or fielding real-time security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense programs.
  • Experience using security-relevant tools and devices for security auditing, network security, host/server security, communication security, or policy management.
  • Experience with Xilinx products and development environments.
  • Experience creating, modifying, or implementing Board Support Packages (BSPs).
