Job Summary

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal System Security Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Software Security Sensors and Effectors Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating real-time missile software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply System Security principles to the design and implementation of hardened Missile software applications.
  • Develop software applications using C and C++ languages on a variety of computing platforms.
  • Understand real-time software design and the performance implications associated with specific System Security implementations.
  • Develop Test, Automation, and Build software for embedded software, typically in Python.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related engineering/science discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on real-time systems and System Security.
  • Experience with C or C++ programming languages.
  • S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, integrating, or fielding real-time security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
  • Experience in developing Embedded Security Software.
  • Experience with Systems/Software Security Concepts.
  • Experience in Agile and DevSecOps environments.
