About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Security Engineer to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our Software Security Sensors and Effectors Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating real-time security-oriented solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply system security principles to the design and implementation of hardened signal processing software applications.
- Develop software applications using C and C++ languages on a variety of computing platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test software solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on embedded systems and security.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing, implementing, testing, integrating, or fielding real-time security-oriented solutions on DoD programs.
- Knowledge of modern computer architectures and hardware technologies, including ARM and x86 architectures.
