The Technology Support Associate (TSA) plays a crucial role in assisting users at the NEEDS Center with their technical inquiries related to computer systems, mobile devices, and software applications. The TSA is tasked with managing support requests, responding to user communications, diagnosing technical challenges, and facilitating daily IT operations across various departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide timely support for computer, telephone, and network issues across the organization.
- Offer technical guidance and assistance to staff, while regularly updating management on departmental performance and resource requirements.
- Conduct daily IT operations as necessary.
- Assist in the installation of hardware and software, providing technical advice when needed.
- Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures related to IT.
- Support the execution of both short-term and long-term strategies to address current and future technology needs.
- Contribute to the security of IT systems and infrastructure, implementing plans to mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with staff across all departments to understand their operational needs and the technology required to achieve their goals.
- Evaluate business requirements for IT systems and identify the need for new equipment and software.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all company-owned technology assets and ensure regular maintenance schedules are followed.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Fundamental understanding of computer and networking concepts.
- Preferred experience with both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 is a plus.
- Ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
- Proficient in prioritizing and executing tasks efficiently.
- Customer service-oriented approach.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Previous experience in a Helpdesk or IT support role is advantageous.
The NEEDS Center is dedicated to providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our approach emphasizes the importance of addressing challenging behaviors and dual diagnoses through the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PSB).
