Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team at Management Company. As an Accounts Receivable and Rent Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our properties, including rent billing, accounts receivable, and security deposits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post all lockbox checks and subsidies on a daily basis.
  • Reconcile security deposits and tenant ledgers for multiple properties.
  • Prepare and send out arrears reports to property managers.
  • Monitor receipt of new contract rents from NYCHA and update the lease charge in the system.
  • Assist with compliance submissions and answer tenant inquiries regarding rent changes.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in accounting or business administration.
  • Knowledge of City agencies (NYCHA, HPD, DOB, HDC) certifications, violations, etc.
  • Knowledge of Rent Stabilization laws and HUD requirements for management of HUD-insured buildings.
  • Yardi Voyager experience and strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with property managers and team members.
