Northwell Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Patient Account Representative to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze patient account activity to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and administrators to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve billing efficiency and maximize case collections.
  • Provide guidance and training to billing/clerical staff on billing and office/clerical functions.
  • Coordinate clinical documentation requests to ensure timely appeals.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in patient accounting or a related field.
