We are seeking a skilled Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our maintenance organization, you will be responsible for performing analytical, preventative maintenance, and repair duties for a fleet of construction equipment, trucks, automobiles, and hand tools.


Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing diagnostic and repair work on diesel and gasoline engines
  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Repairing and replacing equipment components, such as hydraulic systems and electrical systems
  • Working with a team to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in the diagnosis and repair of automobiles, heavy trucks, or construction equipment
  • A valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License
  • A valid Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CDL endorsements and certifications necessary to operate specific pieces of equipment
