Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Lancaster, PA. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment, working on a variety of mechanical equipment from production to packaging, and collaborating with operations, safety, and expert maintenance leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting Preventative Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, aiming for excellence every day.
  • Ensuring Performance Efficiency: Manage machine performance by supporting Operations when they encounter mechanical failures or issues during production, as well as equipment set-up and change overs.
  • Following Best Practices: Understand, follow, and enforce all established guidelines, ensuring compliance with all safety, health, quality, and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.

Requirements
  • Education: Journeyman's or Mechanical/Technical Degree, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment, high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems and sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day.
