Job Summary: As a skilled Mechanic at the Texas State Government, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, service, and repair of all electronic equipment and vehicles. Your duties will include performing maintenance inspections and light repairs, repairing malfunctions of fleet equipment and systems, and conducting road tests on equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose malfunctions through the utilization of advanced electronic and computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform maintenance inspections and light repairs to ensure the optimal performance of fleet equipment.
  • Repair malfunctions of fleet equipment and systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct road tests on equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
