Executive Leader

The General Manager is the face of Tatte Bakery & Cafe within our communities and to our guests. This key leadership position is responsible for delivering a warm, authentic, and inspiring environment for both guests and team members.
As a General Manager, you will work closely with the Front-of-House team and in partnership with the Chef and Back-of-House team to drive total four walls quality, standards, and performance. You will be passionate about delivering on the smallest details to uphold and grow the Tatte brand.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate complete ownership of the business, including total responsibility for the four walls and P&L ownership.
- Model authentic, warm guest experiences and be responsible for instilling great service in the team.
- Ensure the café is optimally staffed with individuals that embody Tatte's values.
- Demonstrate keen people performance management skills with the ability to identify talent and develop managers and hourly team members.
- Display skill in leading and navigating hard conversations.
- Continuously uphold Tatte brand and visual standards.
- Lead team members through effective and efficient operational execution.
- Ensure Food Safety in the café.
- Lead all café-level change management activities to ensure effective and accurate communication of new product, service, and operational information that can be acted upon by the team.
- Ensure food, labor, and controllable costs stay consistently within guardrails set by the company.
- Oversee all café administrative requirements.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a General Manager, preferably in a high-volume, full-service, and/or polished fast-casual restaurant.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- High integrity and professionalism.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Hospitality education, such as a B.S. in Hospitality Management and/or A.S. Hotel and Restaurant Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience working with UltiPro, Toast - POS System, CrunchTime/TeamworX.
- ServSafe, Allergen, and ChokeSaver Certifications.
