Position Overview

The Finance Operations Manager plays a crucial role in assisting both new and pre-owned vehicle purchasers with their financing and protection requirements. This position collaborates with financial institutions to secure approvals and funding for clients. The Finance Operations Manager is responsible for executing all necessary loan and title documentation for customers, ensuring an exceptional ownership experience through outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarizes and adheres to dealership policies and procedures.
  • Maintains an organized and tidy workspace.
  • Communicates any problematic deals to management promptly.
  • Addresses any missing stipulations from lenders without delay.
  • Upholds a standard of professional ethics and treats customers with respect.
  • Possesses knowledge of state regulations regarding finance and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Collaborates with relevant departments.
  • Structures deals in compliance with lender and dealership guidelines.
  • Conducts credit interviews and prepares credit applications.
  • Ensures the accuracy of all information on the credit application before submission to lenders.
  • Maintains confidentiality of customer information.
  • Communicates financial information transparently to customers.
  • Markets credit insurance and service contracts.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with lenders.
  • Keeps an updated lender guide of current programs and acquires knowledge of them.
  • Evaluates new lending programs.
  • Reviews deals with lenders and diligently works through all transactions.
  • Maintains a log for calls and contracts in transit (funding package).
  • Reviews funding packages prior to dispatch.
  • Analyzes credit reports and identifies conventional deals for appropriate processing.

Qualifications

Skills & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through written, electronic, and verbal means.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong communication, organizational, computer, and mathematical skills.
  • Bilingual abilities are advantageous.

To excel in this role, candidates must successfully perform all job responsibilities, possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, complete background checks, and meet all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training will be taken into account.
