The Financial Services Manager plays a crucial role in assisting both new and pre-owned vehicle purchasers with their financing and protection options. This position involves collaborating with financial institutions to secure approvals and funding for clients. The Finance Manager is responsible for executing all necessary loan and title documentation for customers, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the financing process.

Core Responsibilities
  • Understand and apply dealership policies and procedures effectively.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Promptly communicate any problematic deals to management.
  • Address any missing stipulations from lenders without delay.
  • Uphold a high standard of professional ethics and respect towards customers.
  • Possess knowledge of state finance regulations and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments as needed.
  • Structure financing deals in accordance with lender and dealership standards.
  • Conduct credit interviews and prepare credit applications.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all information on credit applications before submission to lenders.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of customer information.
  • Provide customers with clear financial disclosures.
  • Market credit insurance and service contracts effectively.
  • Maintain positive relationships with lenders.
  • Keep an updated lender guide of current programs and develop a thorough understanding of them.
  • Evaluate new lending programs and their applicability.
  • Engage with lenders regarding deal structures and work diligently on all transactions.
  • Maintain logs for calls and contracts in transit (funding packages).
  • Review funding packages meticulously prior to mailing.
  • Analyze credit reports to identify conventional deals and process them accordingly.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to comprehend and utilize written, electronic, and verbal communication.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong communication, organizational, computer, and mathematical skills.
  • Bilingual abilities are advantageous.

To excel in this role, candidates must successfully fulfill all job responsibilities, possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, complete background checks, and meet all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training will be considered.
