Key Responsibilities
  • Examine documentation produced by all gaming sectors, cash handling, soft count, and other revenue-generating areas, conducting thorough investigations into discrepancies.
  • Assess casino records for compliance with gaming regulations and procedural shortcomings, collaborating with casino departments to rectify identified issues.
  • Compile financial reports that reflect revenue metrics for management's strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and input general ledger accounting entries accurately.
  • Develop or adjust auditing spreadsheets as necessary.
  • Exhibit proficiency in applying auditing principles, techniques, and skills in testing audits of varying complexities.
  • Meticulously document pertinent facts and information to support audit findings and conclusions, ensuring clarity for subsequent reviewers.
  • Utilize Windows, Excel, Word, and other software applications effectively.
  • Acquire knowledge of and adhere to company policies, MICS, gaming regulations, and Title 31 requirements.
  • Be prepared to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Completion of one year of college-level accounting courses and two years of relevant audit experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to operate a 10-Key by touch.
  • Capable of applying mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, discounts, interest, and commissions to practical scenarios.
  • Skilled in interpreting technical procedures and government regulations.
  • Competent in drafting business correspondence and documentation.
  • Adept at presenting information clearly, both verbally and in writing, and addressing inquiries from management and clients.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with department heads and staff.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills for resolving practical issues in diverse situations.
  • Ability to follow instructions provided in various formats.
  • Knowledgeable in general business administration principles, including personnel practices and employment laws.
  • Proficient in identifying and addressing administrative challenges under pressure.
  • Capable of maintaining confidentiality while managing sensitive issues with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster professional and effective relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Intermediate skills in Windows and MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with experience in database systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
  • Must obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the relevant gaming authority.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position may involve exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Repetitive movement is necessary, with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. This is a 24/7 operational environment.
