Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of personnel, visitors, facilities, and grounds.
- Maintain a presence and patrol premises, including buildings, grounds, and parking areas to uphold order, enforce regulations, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Protect facilities from threats such as fire, theft, burglary, and assault, safeguarding the safety and security of the business, property, employees, and guests.
- Prevent unauthorized access in accordance with policies and laws.
- Prevent the sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages by underage individuals, and manage disruptive patrons respectfully.
- Collaborate with management; interview guests, witnesses, and employees to investigate incidents, complaints, and accidents.
- Provide money escorts and chip fills as required.
- Respond to medical emergencies, offering CPR/First Aid/AED care and assistance when necessary.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment approved for use as a Certified Emergency Medical Technician.
- Oversee the proper maintenance and stocking of on-site CPR, First Aid, and related medical supplies, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Timely documentation of actions through written reports.
- Conduct traffic control as needed.
- Assist and monitor evacuation routes.
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, special events, overtime, and holidays as required.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant gaming regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Exceptional guest service skills are essential.
- Must possess and maintain current Emergency Medical Technician Certification by the State of Washington and other necessary instructor certifications.
- Experience and training in casino security or a relevant combination of education and experience in security or law enforcement demonstrating the ability to fulfill the position's requirements.
- Previous casino experience is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class III gaming license from the relevant gaming authority.
- Must hold a valid Washington State Driver License.
- Must possess and maintain current Emergency Medical Technician Certification by the State of Washington and other necessary instructor certifications.
This role requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position necessitates exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift with occasional bending and crouching is required. While there are no adverse conditions, employees may be regularly exposed to tobacco smoke. This is a 24-hour, 7 days a week operational environment.
