Role Overview:


Tria Federal is actively seeking a motivated and experienced Revenue Cycle Education and Communication Consultant (Staff II) to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will deliver expert consulting services to assist our Department of Defense client in optimizing their operational and revenue cycle processes.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing data, identifying opportunities for process enhancements, formulating actionable recommendations, and developing a comprehensive training program aimed at improving revenue cycle operations and system adoption (such as MHS GENESIS Patient Accounting Module) through effective training and support for revenue cycle stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client organization, its strategic objectives, governance framework, and overall operational environment.
- Design and implement comprehensive training and communication initiatives for revenue cycle stakeholders.
- Create educational materials focused on process improvements, best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate system adoption by providing training and guidance to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize policies and procedures, and develop presentations and communications.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt policies and procedures as necessary.

- Develop a communication strategy and ensure clear communication with revenue cycle stakeholders regarding program processes, objectives, and expectations.

- Identify challenges, propose solutions, and implement changes to align processes and operations with the client's business objectives.

- Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends affecting client operations, sharing insights both internally and externally as appropriate.

- Exhibit the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment towards common goals and objectives.

- Actively engage in project teams, providing support and guidance to ensure quality deliverables.
- Adhere to established project processes and guidelines regarding resource utilization and communicate any changes to leadership.
- Maintain adherence to defined work plans while ensuring all timelines and deliverables are met.
- Assist in crafting effective internal and external presentations and facilitate client and team meetings with skill.
- Manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and utilize resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Document client communications accurately and share relevant information with the project team.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and project team members.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:


- Comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle concepts, business processes, and operations within the healthcare sector (commercial or federal).

- Proficiency in applying principles of revenue cycle management and integrity, including charge capture, coding, billing, reimbursement, denial management, and compliance.

- Ability to utilize various software applications and tools for revenue cycle functions.
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting complex data and reports related to revenue cycle management.
- Capability to identify and resolve issues pertaining to revenue cycle and integrity.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills with team members, clients, and stakeholders involved in revenue cycle operations.

- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field is ideal.

Clearance:
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Experience:
A minimum of 5-7 years of consulting or healthcare experience is required, ideally within a federal consulting context.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience within the Military Health System (MHS) and familiarity with revenue cycle operations.
- Knowledge of Oracle/Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR), Patient Accounting Module (CPAM), and HealtheAnalytics, particularly in the MHS context.
- Understanding of MHS billing and coding policies and regulations.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and guidelines.
