Job Description

Amazon Freight is a fast-growing startup that externalizes Amazon's transportation capabilities as a service. Our team provides truckload and intermodal services on a world-class network and capabilities currently used to operate Amazon's own freight movements.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will oversee relationships with Amazon Freight's largest customers. We are looking for complex problem solvers who can build and manage relationships with senior leaders at Fortune 500 customers.

In this role, you will drive new business growth by unlocking new commercial opportunities and selling creative solutions aligned to customer needs while maximizing retention of an existing portfolio of business.

You will build and customize solutions with internal Pricing, Sales, and Operations teams to unlock new business while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

As the primary relationship manager, you will be responsible for customer advocacy, collaborating to deliver on customer commitments, drive continuous improvement, and create a high-performing profitable business with the customer(s).

This role requires a collaborative business builder mindset to work cross-functionally to operate in a startup environment at Amazon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the primary commercial relationship with Customer's executive decision-makers.
  • Responsible for building and managing healthy engagements that enable profitable business growth.
  • Define the account growth plan, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure alignment, and execute the plan to deliver on business objectives.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and define business plans to achieve goals.
  • Partner with operations leaders to define scalable operating plans for the accounts in your portfolio that help achieve target financial outcomes.
  • Prioritize and effectively communicate asks of partner teams to unlock new business opportunities and growth across your portfolio.
  • Manage opportunity pipeline and monitor the health of the account, including Customer KPI review, revenue quality monitoring, identifying additional opportunities, contract and term review to ensure contract adherence.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
  • Experience developing, leading, negotiating, and executing corporate and/or business transactions.
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
