Role Summary:

To effectively shape and drive our cohesive global marketing and communication strategy, we are in search of a Director of Marketing & Communications. Your extensive and diverse experience will be pivotal in integrating our core values and service identity into all internal and external communications. By enhancing our existing brand, you will significantly contribute to advancing our business objectives. As we continue to develop value-added services for our clients, your role will be crucial in articulating that value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategic communications plan to elevate NovaSource Power's brand identity; enhance awareness of its initiatives and priorities; and boost visibility among key stakeholder audiences.
  • Design a marketing and public relations strategy that enables NovaSource Power's leadership to translate business objectives into impactful integrated campaign strategies, messaging, and content that drive customer engagement, lead generation, and revenue growth.
  • Assess challenges and opportunities: Identify emerging issues facing the organization. Collaborate with our leadership team and staff to pinpoint internal and external communication opportunities and solutions, and develop and implement effective strategies to support them. You will also play a vital role in expanding our brand into new market segments and increasing market share.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging marketing content across all platforms, channels, and regions, ensuring message consistency.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in digital marketing, managing and optimizing initiatives across all digital channels, including paid advertising, email marketing, search engine marketing, personalization, and virtual events.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience successfully leading marketing or communications teams at an international enterprise level.
  • Proficiency in essential marketing capabilities such as copywriting, digital creative development, audience segmentation, and investment optimization.
  • A solid understanding of Content Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand Management, Communications, and/or Global Marketing Operations is essential, with expertise in at least one area being advantageous.
  • Experience in establishing and executing a multi-year marketing and communication strategy at an enterprise level.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree (preferably a Master's) in a relevant field.
  • Proven success in recruiting, mentoring, developing, leading, and retaining staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, persuasion, oral and written communication, public speaking, consensus building, and decision-making.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and up to 5% internationally.
