About this position:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Lead Product Manager to oversee our Wire and Inter-FI Product Team within the Consumer and Small Business Banking Payments sector. This role is pivotal, requiring a proactive leader to manage various responsibilities essential for executing strategic initiatives. All efforts must be backed by thorough analytical assessments and comply with relevant policies and regulations. You will either lead or engage in issue management processes.

This leader must thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to driving change and enhancing product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct or engage in complex initiatives and deliverables by leveraging data-driven, advanced analytical methods to derive actionable insights, trends, and recommendations, contributing to large-scale planning with significant impact.
  • Provide solutions that consider market trends, regulatory implications, and risk management strategies.
  • Conduct business segmentation, customer profiling, benchmarking, forecasting, vintage analysis, and strategy formulation.
  • Assist the business in understanding revenue streams, pricing structures, customer complaints, and feedback through insightful analytics.
  • Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership through timely, executive-level communications.
  • Articulate actionable insights and recommendations using data in a clear format for diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and policies across all product-related initiatives.
  • Work autonomously or with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product ownership, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, and education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Consumer and Small Business Deposit Payment Products (e.g., Wires, Bank Transfers, Bill Pay, Zelle).
  • Ability to analyze data to identify issues or opportunities aligned with business priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills; adept at using data to inform business cases, roadmap priorities, presentations, etc.
  • Develop reporting and insights to facilitate business decisions across various sectors, including root-cause analysis of complaints and reporting on service level agreements and key risk indicators.
  • Proven partnership and collaboration skills across Wells Fargo, with the ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization and build relationships with multiple business and functional areas.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented, capable of managing multiple moderate to high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Experience in developing PowerPoint materials and presenting to senior leaders succinctly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are crucial. Also, ability to work effectively in a virtual environment with team members and partners across various time zones.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and process mapping.
