Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to fill a part-time position at the Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) in Washington D.C. The successful candidate will have a passion for inspiring and guiding future talents, providing mentorship, guidance, and coordinating educational programs to empower the youth in our community.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage, ranging from $22 to $25, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young leaders. We are actively seeking candidates for various locations in the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area and the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to educational standards in Washington D.C.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to establish a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design a cohesive and enriching academic journey for students in Washington D.C.
  • Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student development.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with students and team members.
  • Proficiency in GSuite is necessary, and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems is required.
  • Flexibility in schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings, is crucial for this position.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicle are mandatory.
