Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system performance, network traffic, and security to identify and address potential issues.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Security: Ensure system security through access controls, backups, and firewalls to protect against cyber threats.
- Documentation: Document system configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to improve overall IT service and support.
- Education: Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in system administration or a similar role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, experience with virtualization technologies, and proficiency in managing Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Higher Education, experience as a Google Workspace Administrator, and relevant certifications.
