Role Overview: We are leveraging data science to transform our fraud management strategies, and we are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to contribute to this mission. This role involves diving deep into data to develop innovative solutions for intricate challenges. You will be tasked with constructing sophisticated models focused on fraud detection, prevention, and enhancing processes through a systematic approach and established feedback mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and prepare extensive, intricate datasets utilizing a blend of machine learning principles, mathematics, statistics, and programming skills.
  • Conduct data mining and statistical evaluations on various business challenges.
  • Articulate problems in quantitative terms, such as identifying underperformance in product features and analyzing user behavior data.
  • Effectively communicate critical insights and findings to business leaders through verbal, written, and visual data representation.
  • Engage in additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis, ideally in a machine learning engineer or data scientist capacity.
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other machine learning tools is advantageous.
  • Experience in data curation, ETL processes, and managing complex data pipelines for 1-3 years.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, presentation, and data visualization skills.
  • Experience in the wireless or telecom sector is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation: Base Pay Range: $86,300 - $155,700. Corporate Bonus Target: 15%. The pay range reflects the general salary expectations for this role, with actual compensation dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.
