Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to various agency priorities, manage communications for the Office of Workforce Strategy (OWS) and the Governor's Workforce Council (GWC), and assist in the preparation of meetings and events.

The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Organizing and prioritizing meetings and events
  • Ensuring compliance with agency requirements
  • Participating in records management activities
  • Providing administrative support for public meetings
  • Coordinating travel arrangements
  • Preparing documents for meetings and events
  • Conducting research to inform strategic policy recommendations
  • Drafting strategic communications and marketing materials
  • Engaging in special projects as needed
  • Working independently and collaboratively with a team

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong project management abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and online meeting platforms. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively are essential.
