Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Vice President of Clinical Reimbursement, you will spearhead our reimbursement initiatives, ensuring alignment between clinical practices and revenue integrity. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and collaborating closely with clinical leadership, you will manage all facets of reimbursement, including PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model) and revenue cycle management. Your exceptional expertise will guarantee that our facilities receive accurate and equitable reimbursement while adhering to all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Essential Duties:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement reimbursement strategies that align with the organization's quality objectives, distinguishing us from competitors.
  • Team Development: Lead and nurture a team of clinical reimbursement specialists, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
  • Expertise in PDPM: Ensure accurate and optimized PDPM reimbursement across all facilities by providing expert guidance, training, and support to MDS Coordinators and clinical personnel.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Stay informed of industry developments and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS guidelines.
  • Managed Care Negotiations: Negotiate and oversee contracts with managed care organizations, securing favorable terms for our facilities.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced analytics and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions that enhance reimbursement outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work alongside clinical, financial, and operational leaders to align reimbursement practices with patient care initiatives and organizational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years in clinical reimbursement within the skilled nursing sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, demonstrating consistent excellence.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of PDPM, revenue cycle management, managed care contracting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and cultivate high-performing teams, with a focus on collaboration and outstanding results.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong data analysis capabilities, leveraging data to drive strategic decisions that meet organizational benchmarks.
