Job Summary: The Vice President of National Operations will oversee, direct, and coordinate operational activities within the organization, ensuring the development and execution of efficient operational strategies and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future demands of the organization.
This position calls for a results-oriented, hands-on leader dedicated to fostering and motivating a high-performing service team to enhance and support the processes that drive our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish and achieve company objectives while providing expertise and guidance on operational projects and systems.
- Work with various divisions and departments to fulfill the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identify, propose, and implement innovative processes, technologies, and systems to enhance and streamline organizational operations and resource utilization.
- Align the organization to meet or exceed customer service standards while fostering a customer-centric culture.
- Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans align with the organization's business strategy and vision.
- Review and approve cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements across the organization.
- Present regular performance reports and metrics to executive leadership.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in operations management relevant to our industry.
- Develop intermediate and long-term plans that align with business objectives and promote operational consistency.
- Serve as a communication leader, influencing behaviors to share best practices and strategies that facilitate growth.
- Establish and manage budgets to drive profitable growth through increased revenue and optimized operations.
- Analyze operational systems and processes, providing recommendations and solutions for improvements.
- Focus on enhancing service processes, including service call intake, quotes, dispatch, billing, and procurement to maximize customer satisfaction and operational profitability.
- Oversee technician recruitment, training, development, warehouse management, parts and inventory management, and overall fleet management.
- Manage process changes and enhancements to facilitate the implementation of new or improved business processes.
- Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing the performance of direct reports and their teams.
- Play a key role in supporting existing and future IT and technology implementations for Concentric and external vendor partners.
- Lead initiatives to identify, secure, and retain service customers by improving the customer service process and building relationships to enhance Concentric's reputation in the industry.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Accountability for key performance indicators that drive business advancement.
- Performance scorecard reflecting metrics such as safety, project completion time, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
- Growth in the utilization of existing customer services.
- Driving key business initiatives in response to changing customer needs.
Requirements:
- Leadership experience with a geographically distributed service workforce.
- 10+ years of progressive operations and service leadership experience in a branch-based service industry.
- 8+ years of experience managing multiple team members and influencing business at executive and VP levels.
- 8+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, procurement, and fleet management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
- Strong verbal, analytical, organizational, writing, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of service-related tracking, dispatching, processing, and billing systems.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven service environment.
- Demonstrated success in collaborative, cross-functional settings.
- Ability to analyze and enhance work processes, develop project plans, and communicate associated benefits.
- Strong strategic planning capabilities that maximize performance and profitability.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business demands and processes.
- Demonstrated initiative and ownership with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
