Job Overview

Icon Power is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating new prospects through canvassing or networking, presenting to self-generated prospects or company leads, and following up with existing prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings as appropriate
  • Generate new prospects through canvassing or networking
  • Present to self-generated prospects or company leads
  • Follow up with existing prospects
  • Generate referrals from existing prospects or current customers
  • Share and learn best practices
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals as determined by leadership
  • Attend ongoing training and activities to promote continued education in our industry

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Previous solar sales or door knocking experience required
  • Laptop or tablet for presenting

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing preferred or related field
  • Previous work experience as a solar sales consultant preferred
  • Basic knowledge of sales and Microsoft Office or related software
  • Must have a valid state driver's license

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, etc)
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to travel
