Solar Sales Consultant

Job Overview
Icon Power is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating new prospects through canvassing or networking, presenting to self-generated prospects or company leads, and following up with existing prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend meetings as appropriate
- Generate new prospects through canvassing or networking
- Present to self-generated prospects or company leads
- Follow up with existing prospects
- Generate referrals from existing prospects or current customers
- Share and learn best practices
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals as determined by leadership
- Attend ongoing training and activities to promote continued education in our industry
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Previous solar sales or door knocking experience required
- Laptop or tablet for presenting
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing preferred or related field
- Previous work experience as a solar sales consultant preferred
- Basic knowledge of sales and Microsoft Office or related software
- Must have a valid state driver's license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, etc)
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel
