Development Manager

Clubhouse International is seeking a highly skilled Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day management of key fundraising functions and serving as a strategic partner in identifying and executing strategies to achieve fundraising growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising and development operations, with experience in managing donor databases and digital fundraising solutions. You will work closely with our Director of Development to ensure excellent stewardship of donor relationships and plan and execute Clubhouse Giving Day (CGD).

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing the donor database, including gift data entry and regular updating of donor and prospect information
  • Developing and managing automations and workflows to support fundraising
  • Monitoring data health and ensuring data hygiene is maintained in the CRM
  • Managing and identifying other operational tools on behalf of fundraising efforts
  • Managing monthly reconciliation of donor gifts to accounting receipts
  • Managing donor communications such as acknowledgments, tax statements, and pledge reminders

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3-4 years of related experience in fundraising and development operations
  • Demonstrated successful experience with effectively managing a donor database for maximum effectiveness
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with digital fundraising solutions and platforms
  • Strong preference for experience with Virtuous CRM

Additional requirements include excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fully remote organization, multi-task, and prioritize workflow. Fluency in English is required, but fluency in other languages is an added plus.
