Job Overview

The Service Sales Representative is a key role in our organization, responsible for determining customer needs, developing solutions, and selling HVAC service agreements for commercial clients.

Responsibilities
  • Determine customer needs and develop solutions
  • Estimate work and sell HVAC service agreements
  • Meet sales objectives and develop customer relationships
  • Create a backlog of work to support short and long-term goals
  • Collaborate with other team members to generate more work and maintain margins
  • Monitor, report, and meet sales plan goals
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog
  • Develop long-term relationships to create brand loyalty
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in HVAC, Mechanical, or related sales
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Organized and self-motivated with ability to source leads and make cold calls
  • Professional manner and appearance
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline
  • Proven track record in HVAC, Mechanical, or related sales
Travel and Physical Requirements
  • 15% of time spent traveling to job site(s)/office location
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles
