As a New Home Sales Specialist, you will be instrumental in assisting clients throughout their homebuying experience. Your role will encompass presenting our diverse range of product features, architectural layouts, and design options tailored to meet the unique preferences of each client. You will act as a reliable consultant, working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth homebuilding journey and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform prospective visitors to our communities into satisfied homeowners.
  • Leverage various tools to drive sales, including promotional materials, model homes, and relationships with real estate professionals.
  • Achieve established sales and customer service objectives with minimal oversight.
  • Stay updated on market dynamics and competitive landscape to uphold M/I Homes' leading status.
  • Inform potential buyers about M/I Homes' offerings, community benefits, financing options, and more.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing assistance from the initial consultation to the closing of their new home.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and participate in division meetings to ensure effective communication and a seamless construction process.
  • Uphold M/I Homes' brand integrity by monitoring community presentation and home upkeep.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in sales and marketing.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in new home sales with a proven record of success in sales volume and customer satisfaction.
  • Goal-driven with the ability to balance independent and team-oriented work.
  • Demonstrates adaptability, confidence, creativity, resilience, and a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications and open to learning new technologies.

Work Environment:

  • Availability to work on weekends is required.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Must possess a personal mobile phone for business purposes and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to showcase homes across multiple levels and stages of development.
