Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Anchorage. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent guest service.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or college coursework in a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, as needed.
