We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Department Executive to join our team at ASRC Federal. The successful candidate will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the Fire Department, responsible for the effective and efficient conduct of the department and its employees.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, direct, and implement all aspects of the fire department, including creating and maintaining department policies and budgets.
- Ensure required records are submitted complete and accurate, and all department services are continually monitored to prevent the loss of life and property by fire and/or emergency medical conditions.
- Work as a member, or head of the installation's Incident Command Staff for Eareckson Air Station, working directly with the U.S. Department of Defense, contractors, and additional private or government entities as required.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, professional conduct, commitment to customer service and community, and proven leadership skills.
- Perform and lead others calmly and efficiently in crisis situations, and maintain accurate records and prepare timely reports required by company and federal organizations and agencies.

- Ability to respond to emergency situations and assume or delegate authority appropriately, including the physical abilities to participate in fire suppression and emergency activities as needed.
- Strong leadership, management, and team building skills, including strategic planning, personnel management, problem analysis, and decision making.
- Ability to analyze situations and act quickly, calmly, and effectively under emergency and other stressful circumstances.
- Working knowledge and proficiency in the operation of computer equipment and software programs used by the department and company.
- Ability to research current information pertaining to and design, authorize, and disseminate policies and procedures according to U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, company, and local policies.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 15 years' experience in fire and emergency response, with 4 years' experience in fire operations and management at an executive fire officer level.
- Trained and certified by either an accredited certification academy recognized by Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA), Pro Board, and/or IFSAC.
- Certified IAW DoDI, DoD Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) Program.
- NFPA certifications in Hazardous Materials Operations, Hazardous Materials Incident Commander, NFPA 1001: Firefighter II, NFPA 1003: Airport Firefighter, NFPA 1021: Fire Officer IV, NFPA 1031: Fire Inspector II, NFPA 1041: Fire Instructor II, NIMS: 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800.
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Current).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Science or related emergency response field.
- NFPA certifications in Hazardous Materials Technician, NFPA 1002 Driver Operator Pumper, Airport, Mobile Water Supply, NFPA 1031: Fire Inspector III, NFPA 1041: Fire Instructor III, NFPA 1006: High Angle Rescue, Low Angle Rescue, Trench Rescue, NFPA 1500: Incident Safety Officer, NFPA 1081 Facility Fire Brigade Exterior, NFPA 1081 Facility Fire Brigade Leader, Marine Firefighting for Land-Base Firefighters, Confined Space Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, National Registered Emergency Medical Technician Basic, Emergency Vehicle Operator's Certificate, and First Aid AED/CPR Instructor (Current).
