Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic insight leader for designated categories across our brand portfolio.
  • Utilize consumer, category, and shopper insights to create compelling narratives that influence category and brand strategies.
  • Provide top-tier analytics and actionable recommendations to enhance sales, market share, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal insights teams to spearhead category advisory initiatives.
  • Promote the integration of shopper insights throughout the organization.
  • Identify and present growth opportunities within categories to key customers.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to provide comprehensive insights into shopper behavior and category dynamics.
  • Make informed recommendations regarding distribution, pricing, and promotional strategies to meet category and brand goals.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis and present findings to the Sales Leadership team.
  • Monitor industry trends and propose strategies to address market shifts.
  • Evaluate business performance, assist in ROI assessments, and recommend improvements to plans.
  • Drive the achievement of sales targets, net sales, and EBITA goals annually.
  • Play a pivotal role in developing the annual business plan based on analytical evaluations of historical and competitive data.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team to establish annual growth objectives.
  • Lead complex negotiations, leveraging insights to support our strategic position.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in the Beauty Care, CPG, or Retail sectors.

Essential Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and storytelling capabilities.
  • Proficient in syndicated data analysis (e.g., IRI, Nielsen) and related tools.
  • Experience with customer loyalty databases.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
