  • Support Employee Engagement: Participate in roundtable sessions, focus groups, and other listening tours to gather input, aggregate themes, and integrate into HR strategic and action planning.
  • Develop Employee Communication Programs: Create and implement programs to facilitate awareness and drive desired changes across the workforce.
  • Identify and Pursue Transformative Approaches: Identify and pursue innovative approaches to internal communications that support the University's mission and promote employee engagement and a culture of belonging.
  • Maintain Information Databases: Track, measure, evaluate, and report achievements of internal and external communication goals.
  • Establish and Maintain Effective Working Relationships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external partners, including agencies, producers, designers, writers, printers, and media.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes: Knowledge of business and management principles, ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations, ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan, ability to effectively plan, delegate, and/or supervise the work of others, and ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
