Join Ecolab's Corporate Logistics team as a Logistics Operations Associate Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting North America Transportation Logistics services and managing carrier performance.

In this position, you will be tasked with overseeing carrier effectiveness, ensuring accountability for outcomes, and formulating and implementing corrective action strategies while prioritizing safety as Ecolab's foremost commitment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Ecolab Carrier Partners with a focus on Safety, Service, and Cost Efficiency across a designated carrier portfolio.
  • Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with national, regional, and local domestic Less Than Truckload providers.
  • Conduct Quarterly, Annual, and Monthly Business reviews with carriers aimed at fostering continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute tailored strategies for your assigned carriers to advance Ecolab and Nalco's objectives.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools to identify root causes and implement corrective action plans based on performance trends.
  • Collaborate with Transportation Leadership and Procurement to facilitate RFP events and off-cycle activities aligned with Carrier Management strategies.
  • Support carrier transition processes, including planning, communication, and execution.
  • Lead regular performance reviews with carriers within your portfolio.
  • Drive collaborative initiatives with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational transportation processes and procedures.
  • Act as a transportation subject matter expert on assigned carrier relationships and corporate initiatives.
  • Prepare and present performance data and action plans during weekly business reviews.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain, or related operations.
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position.
  • Relocation is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or Transportation.
  • 3 years of experience in transportation management.
  • Project management and process improvement skills.
  • Experience with 5S, LSS, Lean, or Continuous Improvement Processes.
  • Project management experience.
  • SQL data query experience.
  • Experience in a related industry (food and beverage, health and hygiene products, pharmaceuticals, etc.), preferably managing a chemical supply chain.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally at all organizational levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
