Typical Work Schedule:

1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

We seek individuals who can improve product flow by analyzing and developing logistics strategies that enhance production, distribution, damage control, and inventory management. In the role of Logistics Operations Associate, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing processes that optimize customer satisfaction while minimizing costs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate freight and manage delivery to meet customer and company requirements promptly.
  • Optimize efficiency in freight movement.
  • Monitor customer shipments to ensure timely, accurate, and satisfactory deliveries.
  • Resolve shipment discrepancies as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Identify strategies to increase freight opportunities and manage existing ones effectively.
  • Accurately input data into the transportation management system.
  • Generate and maintain required reports.
  • Process, audit, and file various documentation correctly.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

At a minimum, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Two years of experience in supply chain or logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented approach with a proactive and professional demeanor.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment while fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
  • The capability to work independently, maintain confidentiality when necessary, produce accurate results, and meet deadlines.
