KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Direct and oversee operations to ensure compliance with company and TSA regulations for shipment processing.

2. Maintain high standards of customer service and meet service commitments.

3. Negotiate rates with airlines and trucking companies to maximize profitability.

4. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for staff adherence.

5. Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including Profit and Loss Analysis.

6. Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental and industry regulations.

7. Adhere to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

8. Monitor and maintain quality systems for efficient freight processing.

9. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of services rendered.

10. Conduct performance evaluations for team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

No specific educational requirements.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with adequate typing skills and computer literacy.

Knowledge of air carrier bookings, export documentation, and TSA requirements is essential. Dangerous goods certification is preferred (willingness to complete training upon hiring).

Ability to delegate tasks effectively based on operational needs and lift up to 70 lbs unassisted. Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Comprehensive understanding of export operations and compliance, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in International Logistics preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous supervisory or management experience is desirable but not mandatory.
