Job Summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for building relationships, providing guidance and counseling to leadership, and designing and executing human resources initiatives and programs across business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Support: Provide guidance and counseling to Unifi leadership in areas such as employee relations, performance management, coaching and counseling, learning and development, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration: Build strong partnerships between Human Resources and the business to foster a positive and fulfilling work environment.
  • Confidentiality and Data Integrity: Maintain the strictest confidentiality in all work aspects and ensure continuing data integrity.
  • Employee Relations: Recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with leadership to design and execute strategies related to staffing, onboarding, talent development, and employee retention.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Federal and State Laws, and company policies and procedures which assists with reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Investigations and Resolution: Conduct investigations, document findings, and make recommendations for appropriate action.
  • Communication: Proactively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Business Acumen: Utilize Human Resources metrics and business data to make informed business decisions.
  • Employee Support: Respond to employee questions and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Administrative Support: Coordinate with managers regarding requests for leaves of absence and administrative policies and procedures.
  • HRIS Management: Update and maintain employee information in the HRIS system in a timely manner for assigned locations.
  • Personnel Status Changes: Process hourly personnel status change (address, pay, position, status, terminations, etc.) for assigned stations in a timely manner.
  • Training and Development: Partner with Training Department to develop, schedule, and deliver leadership training.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Four (4) to (6) years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Certifications: PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of HR Laws and regulations such as Wage and Hour, Title VII, OFCCP, EEO/AAP, FMLA, ADA, Worker's compensation, I-9, E-Verify, and DGS policies and procedures.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills with proficiency in word, excel, and HRIS systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand the business and industry, which will assist with developing, executing, and sustaining strategies.
  • Change Management: Ability to understand the Company Culture and act as a change agent to evolve the organization through Human Resources initiatives and systems.
