Head of Human Resources Operations

WHEAT MONTANA BAKERY is seeking a full-time Head of Human Resources Operations to work onsite in a dynamic environment.
The Head of Human Resources Operations will be accountable for directing the formulation and execution of strategic objectives within the company's Human Resources division to boost employee satisfaction and ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.
This role encompasses comprehensive oversight of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Safety and Wellness:
Develop and lead a robust program aimed at maintaining a safe workplace for all employees, striving for zero long-term injuries. Implement wellness initiatives to enhance employee health and well-being.
Strategic HR Planning:
Formulate and execute HR strategies that align with the operational goals of the bakery.
Talent Acquisition:
Spearhead the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring the timely hiring of qualified candidates. Collaborate with department heads to define job specifications, conduct interviews, and make informed hiring decisions.
Employee Relations:
Cultivate a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and managing grievances. Implement engagement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
Performance Management:
Supervise the performance evaluation process, guiding managers in setting objectives and conducting assessments. Develop and implement performance enhancement plans as needed.
Training and Development:
Assess training needs and coordinate employee development programs. Facilitate continuous learning opportunities to advance employees' skills and competencies.
Compensation and Benefits:
Oversee the design and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws.
Legal Compliance:
Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations impacting the industry. Ensure that company policies and practices align with local, state, and federal laws.
Diversity and Inclusion:
Advocate for diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization. Implement strategies to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
Establish and track key HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Prepare regular reports for senior management on HR-related activities and strategies. Collaborate with leadership to identify and address organizational development needs.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred but not required).
• Extensive experience in human resources management, particularly in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in Spanish (speaking, reading, writing), bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven history of developing and executing successful HR strategies.
• Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is advantageous but not mandatory.
