  • Verify customer data imports correctly from Excel spreadsheets and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Design and implement an invoice template with a new logo, ensuring consistent formatting and branding.
  • Generate invoices for each customer once the template has been approved and save them in memorized transactions.
  • Assist with setting up online accounts for sales and use tax, as needed.
  • File state sales tax documents in our online records.
  • Update and create sales tax schedules based on filing frequency.
  • Maintain a checklist of the status of each state's account.
  • Map billing items to sales tax codes in Avalara software, ensuring accurate tax rates for service items billed.

Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Role:

  • Strong experience with QuickBooks and financial software.
  • Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable and financial transactions.
