Administrative Support Specialist

The Administrative Support Specialist plays a vital role in the operational efficiency of Tulane University Staff. This position is responsible for general administration duties such as record keeping, data entry, and scheduling. The candidate will also perform light clerical tasks like copying, faxing, and filing.
As an Operations Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to department leadership, assisting with general operations of the office. You will order office supplies, maintain equipment, and help with major projects related to department initiatives.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You will work effectively in an open office environment, utilizing your communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
We are seeking an experienced administrative professional who can take on a high level of responsibility and complete tasks with minimal guidance. If you have a background in finance and experience with financial reconciliation, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of administrative experience
- Reception experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously in person, on the phone, and via email
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with financial reconciliation
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
