  • Guest Experience: Greet and seat guests, present menus, and inform them of special catches and soups.
  • Customer Service: Treat all guests with professionalism and courtesy, striving to exceed their expectations.
  • Waiting List Management: Take names and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
  • Floor Plan Management: Run the floor plan board and observe tables to ensure efficient table management.
  • Menu Management: Clean, organize, and stock menus at the host area.
  • Phone and Guest Interaction: Answer phone calls and interact with guests as they arrive and depart to ensure a positive experience.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant is preferred but not required.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Availability: Full-time flexible hours are required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 30 lbs.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient or ability to learn computer skills, including POS systems, OpenTable, Word, and Excel.
