Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Risk Management & Patient Safety Director at Clinical Management Consultants.
About the Role: As a Risk Management & Patient Safety Director, you will play a vital role in upholding quality standards and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for developing quality improvement initiatives and identifying risk factors. The ideal candidate will have CPHRM certification, 5+ years of nurse leadership experience, and experience working in Risk Management and Patient Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with the Quality and Compliance departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify and mitigate risk factors to prevent adverse events.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to risk management and patient safety.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team on risk management and patient safety best practices.
Requirements:
- CPHRM certification
- 5+ years of nurse leadership experience
- Experience working in Risk Management and Patient Safety
- Experience using Team STEPPS and managing regulatory audits
