Job Summary

The National Football League is seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to join our team. As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of live productions, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality visuals. This is a seasonal, 7-month role that requires flexibility and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the technical aspects of live productions, including video switching, camera operation, and audio mixing.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth execution and high-quality visuals.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to enhance production value and efficiency.
  • Interface with the Engineering department to resolve equipment maintenance issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production staff.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Director in a multi-camera studio and/or remote environment.
  • Experience in operating Sony XVS Switchers.
  • Extensive knowledge of video switchers, graphics, and peripheral device control.
  • Familiarity with electronic news rundowns (ENPS) and other production software.

Preferred Qualifications
  • SMPTE 2110 experience.
  • Experience with Ross Mira GFX system.
  • Knowledge of HDR and 4K production.
  • vMIX software experience.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
