Technical Director

The National Football League is seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to join our team. As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of live productions, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality visuals. This is a seasonal, 7-month role that requires flexibility and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the technical aspects of live productions, including video switching, camera operation, and audio mixing.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth execution and high-quality visuals.
- Develop and implement technical strategies to enhance production value and efficiency.
- Interface with the Engineering department to resolve equipment maintenance issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Director in a multi-camera studio and/or remote environment.
- Experience in operating Sony XVS Switchers.
- Extensive knowledge of video switchers, graphics, and peripheral device control.
- Familiarity with electronic news rundowns (ENPS) and other production software.
Preferred Qualifications
- SMPTE 2110 experience.
- Experience with Ross Mira GFX system.
- Knowledge of HDR and 4K production.
- vMIX software experience.

Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
